Ordering
How do I place an order?
Add machines to your cart and check out online, or call +1 (800) 555-0199 and an equipment specialist will build the order with you — helpful when you're combining machines, freight and installation.
Can I get a formal quote before buying?
Yes. Request a quote with your machine list and ZIP code and we'll return an itemized quote including freight and any installation. Quotes are typically valid for 14 days.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Schools, government agencies and established institutions can buy on purchase order with net-30 terms. Details are on the financing page.
Can I see equipment before I buy?
Yes — visit our warehouse at 2450 Industrial Pkwy, Hayward, CA 94545 by appointment, or ask for current photos or a live video walkthrough of the exact unit you're considering.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is collected where we're required to by law, calculated at checkout from your shipping address. Tax-exempt organizations can send their exemption certificate before ordering.
Can I order for a gym I’m opening in a few months?
Absolutely — we do it constantly. We can hold or sequence production so equipment lands close to your opening date, and consolidate multiple machines onto one truck.
Shipping & Delivery
How long until my order arrives?
Total time = processing + transit. New in-stock items process in about 2–7 business days; remanufactured machines typically take 3–5 weeks to finish their rebuild. Freight transit adds roughly 2–14 business days in the lower 48. See Shipping & Delivery.
What delivery options are there?
Four levels: curbside, threshold/garage, room of choice, and full assembly & installation. The shipping page has a side-by-side table of what each includes.
Is liftgate service included?
Yes on residential freight deliveries — the liftgate lowers your crate from trailer height to the ground. Commercial addresses with a dock don't need one.
What should I do when the truck arrives?
Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt, photograph it, and report it within 48 hours — then we handle the carrier claim for you.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide. Large machines are custom-crated for ocean freight quoted door-to-port; EXW pickup by your freight forwarder is also available. See international shipping.
Can I pick my order up?
Yes — free warehouse pickup at 2450 Industrial Pkwy, Hayward, CA 94545. Choose pickup at checkout and bring a vehicle rated for the crated weight; we load with a forklift.
Remanufactured Equipment
What does "remanufactured" actually mean?
A complete teardown and rebuild: frame stripped and refinished, belts, bearings and batteries replaced as a rule, worn parts swapped, then load-tested. It is not a cleaned-up used machine. Full details on What is Remanufactured?.
How much do I save versus new?
Typically 40–60% off the equivalent new model — often $4,000–$8,000 per machine on flagship commercial cardio.
Where does the equipment come from?
Mostly commercial sources: health-club trade-ins, hotel refresh cycles and lease returns. Club machines are engineered for all-day use, which is what makes them worth rebuilding.
Do remanufactured machines come with a warranty?
Every one ships with a 1-year parts & on-site labor warranty, extendable to 2, 3 or 5 years total. That's longer than the factory labor warranty on many of the same models new — see warranty.
Can I get a custom color?
On eligible machines, yes — since frames are refinished anyway, custom powder-coat colors and upholstery options are available for a modest upcharge.
Is remanufactured suitable for a commercial facility?
It's our largest customer segment. You get full commercial-grade hardware, an on-site service warranty and lease-friendly pricing. Many facilities outfit their entire cardio floor remanufactured.
Warranty & Service
What warranty comes with new equipment?
The manufacturer's full factory warranty — commonly 10-year to lifetime frame, multi-year parts and 1-year labor on cardio. Each product page lists exact terms; typical ranges are on the warranty page.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Use the contact form with your order number and a photo or video of the issue, or call +1 (800) 555-0199. Most claims are moving within one business day.
Who performs warranty repairs?
Our own technicians near our Northern California facility, and a vetted nationwide network everywhere else — dispatched and paid by GymGo. You never hunt down a repair company.
What isn’t covered?
Routine owner maintenance (belt tensioning, lubrication, leveling), misuse or unauthorized disassembly, post-delivery cosmetic wear, and outdoor-exposure damage. The full covered/excluded list is on the warranty page.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the machine?
No — GymGo warranties are valid for the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
Financing & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover; wire transfer and ACH on invoiced orders; checks from established commercial accounts; and pay-over-time financing. See financing.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes — consumer installment plans run 12–60 months through our lending partner, with a soft-pull rate check that doesn't affect your credit score. Example payments on real machines are on the financing page.
Do you offer business leasing?
Yes. Commercial leases from 24–60 months for gyms, studios, hotels and clinics, with $1-buyout or fair-market-value structures, and freight and installation can be rolled into the payment.
Is a deposit required on large orders?
Multi-machine facility orders and custom-finished machines may require a deposit before production; your quote will state it clearly up front.
Can institutions pay on terms?
Schools, universities, government and military can purchase on purchase order with net-30 terms — contact us with your PO requirements.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Standard equipment can be returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. A 15% restocking fee applies, and change-of-mind returns pay return freight. Full details on the returns page.
What items can’t be returned?
Custom powder-coated or custom-upholstered machines, special orders, customer-requested modifications, and opened hygiene-sensitive accessories — unless defective.
What if my machine arrives damaged?
That's not a return — it's on us. Note it on the delivery receipt, photograph it, report within 48 hours, and we'll repair or replace at no cost. See delivery inspection.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes — free before processing begins, minus incurred costs once your rebuild is underway, and per the return policy once shipped. Custom finishes are non-cancelable once started. Details on returns & cancellations.
Saunas & Cold Plunges
Do saunas need special electrical work?
Many infrared saunas plug into a standard 120V/15–20A circuit; larger heaters and most traditional saunas require a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician. Every product page lists power requirements — check before ordering.
Can a sauna go in a garage or outdoors?
Indoor models belong indoors (a garage is fine); outdoor-rated barrel and cabin saunas are built for exposure. Level footing and clearance from combustibles are required either way.
How much assembly does a sauna require?
Most panel-built saunas assemble in 1–2 hours with two people and basic tools. Full assembly service is available as a delivery option.
How cold do cold plunges get, and what maintenance is involved?
Most chiller-equipped plunges hold roughly 37–60°F. Maintenance is simple: filter changes and periodic water treatment or changes per the manual. Browse saunas & cold plunges.
Home vs. Commercial Equipment
What’s the real difference between home and commercial machines?
Duty cycle. Commercial machines use heavier frames, larger motors and serviceable components rated for 8–12+ hours of daily use; home-grade equipment is built for about an hour a day. Listings note the grade — see grading explained.
Is commercial equipment overkill for a home gym?
It's the opposite of a gamble: at remanufactured prices, a commercial machine often costs the same as a mid-range home unit and will outlast it by a decade. It's the best value in the catalog for heavy users.
Can I put home-grade equipment in my business?
We advise against it — it wears out fast under club traffic and doing so voids a residential warranty. For hotels, apartments and offices, choose commercial or light-commercial grade with a commercial-use warranty.
Will commercial equipment fit through my doors?
Usually — most machines need a 30–36″ clear path — but measure your narrowest door, stair turns and ceiling height first. Send us dimensions and we'll confirm fit before you order.
What power do treadmills need at home?
A dedicated 120V/15–20A outlet on its own breaker is best practice for commercial treadmills; avoid extension cords and shared circuits. Self-powered machines (many bikes, some climbers) need no outlet at all.
