The Bowflex Treadclimber is an all-in-one machine and can be used as an elliptical, treadmill, or stair stepper. The machine can turn from an elliptical to a treadclimber in seconds by simply locking a lever. The TreadClimber 5500 is Bowflex’s premium incline trainer. The unique exercise machine is considered a hybrid stair climber-treadmill. Users can choose between climbing, walking on an incline, and using the machine as an elliptical trainer. TreadClimbers help users to burn calories and tone their bodies more efficiently than they could with a standard treadmill. Using an incline trainer such as the TC 5500, an exerciser can achieve great results in less time than they would with a traditional treadmill. The TC 5500 takes up less floor space than a traditional treadmill, so it’s ideal for smaller living quarters. It also has wheels for easier transport. The TreadClimber 5500 includes standard workouts with 15 intensity levels, plus outstanding ’Goal Oriented’ technology that serves as a virtual fitness coach. As users reach exercise goals, new features are unlocked as rewards and motivators. For instance, an exerciser can earn trophies and virtually visit landmarks from around North America. Bowflex TreadClimbers are designed to provide low-impact workouts. The TC 5500 offers the most comfort of all with extra-long foot treadles.

Excellent Cardiovascular Conditioning Users quickly achieve exceptional cardiovascular conditioning without the potentially harmful impact involved in most weight-bearing exercises.
Four Machines In One The many adjustment options help the motion simulate more comfortable versions of other favorite activities. Lower ramp levels can feel like cross-country skiing or walking or running on a treadmill. Higher ramp levels can produce a an efficient, comfortable, cycling or stair climbing motion.
Smart Rate - A different color indicator shows when the user’s heart rate is above, below, or within the user’s ideal weight loss or cardiovascular training zone. To activate Smart Rate, the user must wear the heart rate chest strap.
Quick Start - The push of a single key lets the user begin exercising in the manual course.
Manual course allows the user to control ramp incline, resistance and pace.
8 Programmed courses provide hill, valley, and interval training through ramp changes. The user selects resistance level and determines pace.

Commercial gym equipment ships by palletized liftgate freight, not parcel — and standard freight is free to any address in the continental United States.

Delivery options

Standard liftgate freight — free. The carrier lowers the crate to your curb, garage or loading dock with a liftgate; you move the equipment inside.
White-glove delivery & installation — $350 per machine. Our crew places, assembles, levels and tests the equipment, then removes all packaging.
Warehouse pickup — free from our Boca Raton, FL warehouse.

Handling & transit

Orders are handled in 1–3 business days and spend 3–7 business days in transit, so equipment typically arrives within 4–10 business days. Orders placed before1:00 PM ET on a business day enter the same-day handling queue. Custom powder-coat or upholstery finishes add lead time, confirmed before dispatch. You'll receive tracking and a scheduled delivery window once your equipment ships.

Title and risk pass to you on delivery. Inspect the crate and note any damage on the driver's receipt before signing, then email photos within 24 hours. Undamaged equipment can be returned within 30 days — see Returns & Refunds.
